EMS SAS is part of the Hildebrandt Group and furthermore the largest cable drum producer in France. EMS means: „Emballage“ – „Manutation“ – „Service“, so: Packaging - Processing - Service. We see ourselves as a full-range supplier of wood, plywood, plastic and steel drums as well as equipment.

60 YEARS OF TRADITION

2014

EMS has been part of the Hildebrandt Group since 2014. Today we are a strong team with our president Christoph Braun.

2011

Establishment of the first location outside France in El Alia near Tunis, Tunisia.

2005

EMS expands its range to include plywood drums and becomes one of the largest independent drum producers in France.

1992

Development of a dismountable reusable plastic drum, the "Colibri".

1970

Beginning with the production of wooden drums, as plastic beverage crates were increasingly used on the market.

1963

Foundation of the company in the Auvergne near the spa town of Vichy. Initially, EMS produced wooden crates for water glass bottles.
